In the following window, type in your page size and margin measurements: In the dialog window that comes up, you'll select "Manage Custom Sizes", then "Other" within that dropdown. 44" top and bottom margins, 1" left and right margins, select File>Page Setup. You may see a warning about a missing font- that is ok to ignore as it simply means your system doesn't have the font used to create the Word document.Īfter making note of the measurements- in this case, for a US Trade document, those would be 6"x9" page size.

Our Microsoft Word (.doc) manuscript template can be opened into Apple Pages, however as many of the directions are specific to Microsoft Word, you won't find the same terminology in Pages. Test runs are recommended, using ordinary paper rather thean the heavier stock you'll use for the cards themselves. When printing, you will have some juggling to do between printing the outside and printing the inside. Replace the placeholder text in both boxes with whatever text you want on the inside page. To add an "Inside" page, click the "+Page" button in the toolbar and choose the second option from the menu that opens: The template also contains an "Inside" page, with space for text, and a "Blank" page on whch you may place text or graphics. Using the single page shown as the template opens, the cards will have the bird and the words "Thank you" on the front of the card when folded. That template is designed to produce a pair of cards, folded in half top to bottom.
